PODCAST: BUDAYA DIGITAL DALAM ASPEK EDUKASI SELAMA PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract

Pada masa pandemi Covid-19, muncul desakan untuk memanfaatkan konten digital agar aktivitas edukasi tetap berjalan secara efektif. Podcast terus berkembang seiring dengan tuntutan Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh, baik dalam sistem formal maupun nonformal. Hal ini perlahan-lahan membentuk budaya digital masyarakat sehingga menjadi terbiasa belajar secara daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis budaya digital dalam fenomena produksi, distribusi dan konsumsi podcast di lingkup edukasi pada masa pandemi. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur dengan pendekatan naratif. Berdasarkan hasil penelusuran pada basis data Scopus dan Google Scholar dengan menyatukan kata kunci podcast, Covid-19, serta education, ditemukan enam literatur yang terbit antara tahun 2020-2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan podcast telah mengubah budaya digital masyarakat. Pembelajaran tidak lagi dilakukan secara formal di kelas tetapi dapat dilakukan di mana pun. Pemanfaatan podcast telah mengubah dunia pendidikan menjadi lebih mudah diakses sehingga setiap orang dapat mencari materi pembelajaran di saluran digital. Adapun produksi podcast tidak hanya dilakukan oleh pengajar tetapi juga peserta didik. Perubahan dimensi pada produksi, distribusi dan konsumsi tersebut bisa menjadi referensi metode belajar setelah pandemi berakhir.
